When Russell was old, someone once asked him: Is there anything you want to tell future generations?
他简短的说了两点，智慧和道德。

智慧方面，人们应该仅仅在事实上构建(逻辑)真实， 而不是从意愿或者善意的社会效应出发（否认事实）。 道德方面就更简单，人们应该知道： 爱是明智的，恨是愚蠢的。
In terms of wisdom, people should build (logical) truth based on facts rather than from the effects of will or benevolence (denying facts). Morally speaking, it is even simpler: love is wise, hate is foolish.

The intellectual thing I should want to say to them is this: When you are studying any matter or considering any philosophy, ask yourself only what are the facts and what is the truth that the facts bear out. Never let yourself be diverted either by what you wish to believe or by what you think would have beneficent social effects if it were believed, but look only and solely at what are the facts. That is the intellectual thing that I should wish to say.

And as a country, China probably wouldn't be able to do any of it.
