SOS Relay is licensed under the SOS Relay Ethical License, derived from the Hippocratic License 3.0. It is source-available rather than OSI-approved "open source" — it carries conduct-based restrictions on use, including a bar on internet censorship, suppression of free expression and the press, and interference with or targeting of distress signals sent through this software.
