This society transferred wealth into the hands of speculators, creating a frenzy among the nouveau riche. When the entire social debt chain broke down, genuine producers were dragged into debt as well. No one could escape; the so-called depression was the result of the collapse of numerous lending relationships. Individuals and businesses alike found it impossible to balance their books. Thus, Japan's economic bubble burst after its formation, losing its standing in the eyes of American politicians as a target for criticism. However, the United States did not celebrate this victory; instead, it shifted focus to the next technological wave: personal computers, satellite communications, and digitalization. Meanwhile, Japan remained an advanced society with clean environments and polite residents. If one were to consider Japanese overseas assets, its GDP data would not be as bad if calculated. Moreover, the operation of social welfare and pension funds in Japanese society is genuine compared to those of the CCP, which falls far short in terms of adhering to social contracts.

美国的政客常常不会顾忌自己的面子，在国际关系中美国总统为美国企业直接说话的情况一点不令人吃惊。他们在多数时候不仅仅是收钱说话，这无关政经勾结相互牟利的腐败，而是制度，美国政客天生就要为他们代表的选票说话，这就是美国人的方式，政客在政治中习惯于亲身肉搏。他们的文化是多元化的，政治结构中也没有中国或者日本式的面子文化。曾经在美日一轮轮的贸易冲突中，日本人狼狈不堪，纺织品、汽车、家电、半导体行业一一被迫签订所谓不平等条约。然而就在这样的情况下，日本强势的生产力也没有被打倒。汽车和半导体越卖越多。美国汽车业得到了机会但是并没有改善生产，他们在关税壁垒后面恢复了销售、提升了车价，却减少了生产并且裁员降成本，安心吃下了政客们抢来的肥肉。最终让日本走入低谷的是他们自己，他们过于礼貌，没有更大声批评权力和金钱，金融业的复杂理论常常只是用来掩饰上位者的愚蠢。在这样的文化缺陷中，他们将财富交给了疯狂的投机人群，和汇率不同，日本人自己调高了存款利率，让生产者陷入债务。因此无力追逐下一轮浪潮：个人电脑和信息技术。日本陷入低迷的同时，正是美国的苹果、微软、HP、 DELL 这些新兴公司代表的行业朝朝日上的时候。

US politicians often do not hesitate to save face, and it is not surprising that US presidents speak directly on behalf of American businesses in international relations. More than just taking money to speak, they are deeply embedded in this system, where it’s not about corrupt political and economic collusion for mutual benefit, but the inherent structure: US politicians must speak up for the votes they represent. This is how Americans do politics; they engage directly in the struggle.

Their culture is diverse, and their political structure lacks the face-saving culture found in China or Japan. During rounds of US-Japan trade conflicts, the Japanese were at a loss, with textile, automotive, appliance, and semiconductor industries all being forced to sign so-called unequal treaties one after another. However, despite this situation, Japan's formidable productivity was not undermined. Automobiles and semiconductors continued to sell more and more. US auto industry received opportunities but did not improve production; they sold cars behind tariff barriers, increased prices, reduced production and cut jobs to cut costs, content with the fat they had taken from politicians’ hands. Ultimately, Japan’s own complacency led it into a downturn. They were too polite and failed to loudly criticize power and money. Complex financial theories often just served as a facade for the foolishness of those in power.
