The nightmare depicted in 1984 once became reality, but the author did not anticipate the role of AI. The CCP copied the author's totalitarian design and further developed digital totalitarianism, a form of rule that could be terminated by AI. What was originally meant to be avoided by having people speak the truth now requires AI to break the deadlock. At this point, why should the rulers still be so clever?
